Take a good look at that roof there. Not many people know this, but that roof has the ability to move from side to side, like one of those very expensive sports stadiums with a retractable dome... um, not.

I do believe there's been a fire here recently. I see three possibilities:
  1. The homeowner was just burning for a skylight.
  2. Another one of Doc Brown's experiments blew up.
  3. Three words: illegal candle factory.

    Among more rational explanations, it may have been a meth lab. Most of the local old-timers can trace a detailed chronology of when any particular property was a crack house, and which ones have been. I never met whoever lived there, and I'm not sure anybody actually did recently... could've just been the local fire bug.
